
Marci has been involved in family history since 1999 and has been a professional researcher since 2000. At Brigham Young University, she majored in Family History with an emphasis in the British Isles. Her internship was conducted in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England. Additional research trips included multiple locations in England, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, and various places throughout the United States. She worked at the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, for many years and has continued to work as a professional genealogist. She was a Certified Genealogist (CG®) with the Board for Certification of Genealogists from 2008-2019, and since 2010 has been an Accredited Genealogist (AG®) for research in England with the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists. She is currently the Director of the Family History Research Program at BYU–Idaho.
